“Her painterly picture-book imagery has a very unique and original vision as well as her keen, humorous observation of children and their daily lives which is so friendly and happy. We all admired Vannysha’s unusual colour palette and her clever compositions made her stand out among the already high standard of her peers…”
—Deirdre McDermott, Walker Books Picturebook Publisher
If you'd like to work with me on a children’s picturebook, middle grade chapter book, book covers or more, feel free to email me or my agent, Neil Dunnicliffe :)
I am currently open for personal commissions!

In 2026, I won the V&A Illustration Awards (what?!)
(apparently that actually happened—at least according to this picture of me next to my work displayed at the V&A Museum.)
“She is a proper painter…always looking for change of scale, change of colour, change of focus, and does those things really well.”
— said the V&A Illustration Awards judging panel.
